OPLAN 1752
Is an operation plan geared towards the year of evangelism. This year 2009 is the year of evangelism for our world church, with the theme "Mission of Hope". OPLAN 1752 is very significant for the speedy accomplishment of our goal and for the total involvement and participation of our church members. What does the number 1752 signify?

One (1) means the commitment of every one. Every church member to make one contact daily. The intentional contact can be a smile, a greeting, a hand shake, a phone call, a text message, a visit, a religious tract distributed, a Bible study given or a prayer offered to just one person. That one contact is with the intention of manifesting the love and compassion of Jesus. And that, the just one person can either be a friend, a relative, or a close associate. The contact should always be with an evangelistic-intent. Any member can easily implement OPLAN 1752 in whatever situation. It may be done at home, at school, at work, or at play. It can be done even when travelling. It may also be done at any time of day or night, and wherever there is an opportunity.

Seven (7), there are seven days in a week---this means that the commitment of one to make one witness every day will be carried out for 7 days. Thus a local church with minimum members of 25 is capable of making 25 intentional witnessing every day. For seven days the local church shall have 175 attempted evangelistic- intent contacts. Is it possible? Yes, very much possible. This strategy is also workable with the cooperation and commitment of every member.

Fifty two (52) means there are fifty two weeks in a year. The commitment of one to make an evangelistic intended contact daily, being carried out for seven days, is further extended for 52 weeks. This means a year round evangelistic activity. It is an evangelistic explosion of the church for this century, which involves you and me. Going back to our example: That a local church of 25 members makes 25 evangelistic contact every day, 175 evangelistic contacts every week, and for 52 weeks, it shall have made 9,100 evangelistic contacts. Imagine how large the number of contacts if we follow this simple program OPLAN 1752. Day in and day out we will be doing evangelism. This will make evangelism a lifestyle for all our church members. Our assurance is that, "it is not by our might nor by power but by His Spirit" will His work be done.
