Central Philippine Union Conference conducted a three – day seminar on Sunplus Update to the treasurers and accountants on July 18 – 20, 2016 held in the CPUC headquarters, 112 Gorordo Avenue, Kamputhaw, Cebu City.
The CPUC treasurer, Mr. Ginetho A. Suniega, together with CPUC accounting staff organized the seminar. The resource speakers were Mr. Daniel D. Orillosa, MBA, the associate director of Advanced Accounting System of the Sunplus Software Implementation of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist World Headquarters; Mr. Ginetho A. Suniega, CPUC treasurer; Mr. Joel C. Morales, CPUC associate treasurer; Mr. Ronie A. Maravilla, CPUC chief accountant; Mr. Evin M. Villaruben, CPUC corporate accountant and Mr. Luna G. Casio, CPUC senior accountant.
The said seminar aimed to enhance the knowledge of the treasurers and the accountants on the Sunplus system, which is a worldwide software used by the Adventist Accounting of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The event was packed with 34 attendees coming from the different missions and conferences. There were six attendees from CPUC, four from Central Visayan Conference (CVC), two from East Visayan Conference (EVC), three from Negros Occidental Conference, three from Negros Oriental – Siquijor Mission, two from Romblon Adventist Mission, two from West Visayan Conference, two from Central Philippine Adventist College, one from Adventist Hospital – Cebu, three from the Adventist Academy of Cebu, one from the Adventist Academy of Negros Oriental – Siquijor Mission, one from East Visayan Adventist Academy, one from Negros Mission Academy, one from West Visayan Academy and two from CVM Press.
After the seminar, the participants said that they were so blessed for what they have learned. They went home with joy in their hearts to apply the Sunplus Software in their respective missions and conferences.
