Who will be the last global dictator? Is it China, America or the Vatican?

These are the focused questions during the History and Bible Prophecy seminar that was initiated by Pastor James B. Rubrico, the discussant of the four Sabbaths on the 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th of July 2016 held at Capitol Center Seventh – day Adventist Church, Corner Osmena Boulevard and Escario St., Cebu City.

The seminar which was spearheaded by Pastor Rubrico, CPUC Sabbath School and Personal Ministries director/ACS coordinator, pointed on these four topics: “The Destiny of Planet Earth… What will it be like?”; “Prophetic History of the Rise and Fall of Nations”; “The Greatest Historical Cover Up”; and “The Philippines in Bible Prophecy… the Legacy of Sto. Niño.”

This historical and prophetic seminar aimed to inform the members and guests about the realities of the Philippines in particular, and the world in general.

The attendees were so happy and blessed with the messages that they have heard because it strengthened their faith and drew them closer to God.

“My knowledge grew and had a deeper understanding about Adventism not only in the Philippines but also in the entire world,” Mrs. Isabella Carpena said blissfully during an interview.

The said seminar culminated with a baptism of two and one more soul was baptized the following Sabbath, which was officiated by Pastor Noe Pagunsan, the church pastor of Capitol Center SDA church. The organizers hope that there will be more souls who will accept Jesus through baptism.

Furthermore, this seminar answered the call in Matthew 24:3-14 (NKJV), which says;

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.

5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

6 And you will hear of wars and  rumors  of  wars.  See  that  you  are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For  nation  will  rise  against  nation,  and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11 Then many false prophets will rise   up and deceive many.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

May we will do our part in sharing the good news of salvation to our fellowmen that all of us will be ready as we are looking forward on that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ who will take us home. What a day that will be when we see each other in that heavenly home that He has prepared to each one of us!
