Jimalalud Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church conducted a Hunger Relief Program last April 15, 2018, Sunday at 3:00 PM held at the Public Plaza in Brgy. Bala-as, Jimalalud, Negros Oriental, with more than 50 children in the
barangay. They seek not only to meet the physical needs of the children in the community, but most especially, the spiritual needs as well.
And for this reason, the Adventist brethren held a short devotional before the feeding program. They also conducted a special program that excites the children in memorizing verses from the Bible, in hearing Bible stories and
in singing more songs for the Lord.
The kids enjoyed the whole afternoon with the different activities not only for them, but for the parents as well. “Thank you so much for choosing Brgy. Balaas for this hunger relief program,” one of the parents commented.
The program ended with a blessed success. The Jimalalud SDA brethren will never stop here; they are committed to extend their helping hands for more programs this year and in the years to come for God’s glory.
