The new building of the Negros Occidental Conference (NOC) headquarters is now more than half-way done. After concreting the third-floor roof deck covering, the laborers focus on walling the remaining rooms, tiling the floors, painting the walls, installing the ceilings and electrical connections, and setting up the plumbing.
This multi-million four-story building project went underway when the NOC Executive Committee gave the go signal for the construction. The three NOC officers: President Renito Inapan, Executive Secretary Jimmy Quijote, Jr., and Treasurer Ebenezer Loriezo Jr., together with the departmental directors and field workers, worked in one direction to implement the building plans, and ensure financial sustenance through regular promotions of this project in the churches within the NOC territory. NOC workers showed their support to the project through a salary deduction on a monthly basis. The NOC constituents gave personal gifts and donations. Foreign financial aid also poured in.
The Siote Construction Company oversees the building project. This construction company is owned and managed by the Honorable Vice Mayor Samuel Siote and his wife, both members of the Silay SDA Church. Siote is currently the vice mayor of Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Achieving this dream of constructing and finishing the NOC multi-purpose building gives the NOC leadership innumerable reasons to be thankful to the Lord God Almighty for His unfailing mercies and provision. The NOC administration hopes that the new building will be a place where disciple-makers are better equipped, the mission work is clearly planned and supervised, and God’s children are nurtured and prepared for the soon return of Jesus.

The Lord blesses everyone who takes part in His work. And when all the work is done, may we hear the Master Builder say, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” (Matt. 25:23, NKJV)
