Project Bible and Hymns or PBH Ministries came to the Philippines and held an evangelistic campaign at Patag, Silay, Negros Occidental on May 27-June 2, 2018. It was headed by Mr. Rodel Dayto, the founder of Project Bible Hymns Ministries (PBHM), and Pastor Noel Nadado, the church pastor.

“This organization was organized in the year 2010 which is composed of three families in the Middle East. Our first mission was in the year 2013 in Campostela Valley
and Davao del Sur churches. We saw that they lacked church hymnals and Bibles, so we distributed and even reached to the 25 churches in Tacloban who were victims of typhoon Yolanda,” Mr. Dayto said.

Because of their faith and vigor in spreading the gospel, this team of missionaries had built a new church in Campostela and had sponsored a mass wedding program to the unmarried SDA members in Camarines.

This organization has its yearly goal to visit different places in the Philippines for a mission. “Our motto is family vacation for a mission,” Pastor Nadado said. “Each year, this organization would visit provinces in the Philippines to see the needs of the community in coordination with the district pastors.”

This year, Patag, Silay was blessed to have their presence with the help of the PBH team members and their families. House visitation, Vacation Bible School (VBS), Brigada Eskwela, feeding program, medical mission and Red Cross first aid training were held during daytime. Nightly program was held in the gym with Pastor Ben Borja, dean of the Theology Department in Mountain View College (MVC), as the speaker.

On the culmination day, there were 17 souls who accepted Jesus Christ through baptism and more than 160 children graduated on their Vacation Bible School. Each child received school supplies, slippers, bags and backpacks of personal hygiene. Mrs. Susan Ba-ad, Negros Occidental Conference Children’s and Family Ministries director, was the guest speaker. Then a delicious lunch was served for the kids and parents.

Furthermore, Patag, Silay City is the 5th mission field of the OFW Middle East Missionaries through Elder Ignacio Aguilar, a Columbian citizen who works as a Certified Guidance Counselor and a OFW Middle East Missionaries sponsor Project Bible Hymns Ministries By Stephanie Loriezo Negros Occidental Conference PBH team member in the Middle East. “We believe in God’s providence for this mission. In fact, some of our children here in the Philippines are selling Yema cake just to support this mission,” Mr. Dayto said.

The motto of PBH’s team is “Leave nothing but the gospel, take nothing but the souls for the kingdom,” which emphasizes the spiritual, mental and physical aspects of life. “The place we are working needs missionaries, but here we are in the Philippines, doing ministries too, for we saw the needs of every person: spiritually and physically. We want to spread Christ’s love and doing services for His glory,” said Pastor Nadado.

Please pray for PBH next year’s mission in Benguet, Mountain Province.
